Therapeutic Coaching
Goal-led. Solution-focused. Therapy-informed.

At The Wellbeing Therapy Hut, therapeutic coaching blends the structure of coaching (clear goals, accountability and practical steps) with the depth of a therapeutic, trauma-informed relationship. This means we can stay focused on what you want to change in the present, while also making space to explore the past if familiar patterns keep showing up.

Some clients want momentum and direction. Others also need space to understand what’s happening underneath — such as self-criticism, people-pleasing, avoidance, perfectionism, or relationship patterns. Therapeutic coaching allows both: forward movement, with the option of deeper therapeutic exploration when it’s helpful and appropriate.

Sessions are £45.
What is Therapeutic Coaching?
Therapeutic coaching is a structured, supportive way of working that can help you to:
-
get clear on what you want
-
set meaningful, realistic goals
-
understand what may be keeping you stuck
-
build steps you can actually follow through on
It is solution-focused and goal-led, without losing depth. We work collaboratively, at your pace, and agree what feels most helpful — whether that’s practical change, deeper understanding, or a flexible blend of both.
Why is this Different to Counselling?

The coach works with clients who want a more structured, goal-led approach, and that have a sense of what they’d like to achieve within a certain time frame. By holding the work within a therapeutic relationship — the coach's main way of working — and drawing on coaching tools, a grounded, practical structure that supports meaningful progress is offered. This helps clients move towards their aims in a way that feels both focused and sustainable.
Who is it for?
Therapeutic coaching can be a good fit if you’re:
-
navigating change (life, identity, career, relationships)
-
feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in looping thoughts
-
wanting stronger boundaries and self-trust
-
rebuilding confidence or self-worth
-
managing stress, burnout, or over-responsibility
-
ready to take action, but unsure where to start
How it Works at The Wellbeing Therapy Hut
1) Book an assessment
For individual work, you’ll start with an online video assessment with one of the team. This is a chance to ask questions, clarify what you’d like support with, and ensure you are matched well. Assessments are £25.00.

2) Agree a focus and pace
You’re in charge of what we work on and how quickly we go. Some people come for a short, focused piece of work; others prefer something more open-ended, with agreed review points.
3) Blend insight + action
Sessions may include:
-
clarifying goals and values
-
exploring patterns that keep repeating
-
practising boundaries and communication
-
grounding and regulation tools to support steadiness
-
between-session reflections or small experiments (only if helpful and agreed)
