JESS - DIRECTOR
A qualified NCPS counsellor. I have over 10 years experience of working with families, adults and children in a range of settings. I have always loved my work and feel that the most important thing is truly listening to someone and how they are feeling. To be able to give someone the space to be able to talk without judgement, and be accepted is so powerful! I understand that people come to counselling for loads of different reasons. I hope that I can offer a space for you to explore what you need in a non judgemental and accepting environment.
The reduced fees that we offer here is because of some amazing trainee counsellors. These students have started their counselling career and need to gain experience towards the end of their training to enable them to qualify. They are bound by the same ethical framework that any therapist is and will have received specific training ensuring they are capable. I personally interview and select all the trainees to ensure that they work with my vision and hope for therapy to be accessible.
WORKING WITH ME
Individual counselling sessions with me are £60.
I am also trained to work with couples and families, and qualified in hypnotherapy and EMDR therapy.

DEAN
I work from an integrative approach, meaning I use various theories and techniques which cater to you as an individual. This is because everyone is unique; we all have struggles which we may want support with coping with. Often our work together brings a higher level of self-awareness, which can alter your interactions with others. By using what you learn in therapy, you can begin to learn a healthier way of being; really connecting to what your true desires are.

CLAIRE
As someone who has navigated my own challenges, I know that it can sometimes be hard to take that first step and talk about difficult experiences. I am here to offer you a safe, empathic, nurturing environment and the time to do this at your own speed. Whilst I cannot ‘fix you’ I will work alongside you to understand and connect with your emotions and offer meaningful insights to help you explore your feelings. Our counselling sessions will be judgement free, and I will be thoughtful and dedicated to your wellbeing. As an integrative counsellor, I will draw on various modalities such as person-centred and psychodynamic counselling alongside mindfulness practices and, if you are happy to do so, creative approaches to best support you and your individual situation.

KATI
Every client of mine is unique, and so is the process, pace and structure we determine together. You don't have to be alone, feeling trapped in a turmoil of complicated feelings and thought. Let's find those changes that need to be made for you to feel safe, content, happy and comfortable in your own skin. Integrating different approaches and techniques we aim to take control of changing and rebuilding your story.

GEMMA
We each have unique lives and experiences, and I believe there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy. My integrative-humanistic approach allows me to tailor how I work to suit your individual need. Our sessions will be client-led, which means that each week we can focus on whatever you feel would be most important. This allows us to explore your challenges and goals together, at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you. There may be times when things feel uncomfortable and answers are uncertain, and I hope that my empathetic and non-judgmental approach will allow us to explore these together with curiosity and compassion. I have experience in working with neurodivergence and late-life diagnosis, identity issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, disordered eating, and trauma.

DIANA
Counselling offers a non-judgemental and confidential space to understand what you are going through and what changes you would like to make. I believe in the power of change and the potential for growth. I am primarily Person -Centred but I believe in Integrative counselling, by pulling on the resources of different elements of specific therapies. I believe that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations, but rather tailored to the requirements of the client.

LORRAINE

NICK
I
Do you find yourself asking “what’s it all about”? Does your life feel empty, or lacking in direction? Nearly three in five young adults said they lacked meaning or purpose in their lives over the past month (Harvard Graduate School of Education, 2023).
My own experience of counselling inspired me to offer other people the kind of support that helped me through the toughest times in my life. I know how hard it can be when you feel stuck on something that you just can’t seem to work through yourself. I aim to provide a welcoming, empathetic space for us to talk through whatever you might be struggling with. I believe that when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, talking it through can help you find your footing. I offer a calm and reflective space to slow down, explore what’s happening inside, and discover new perspectives.

CHARO
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgmental space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. I appreciate that each individual is different and will have a unique experience, and therefore one single counselling approach will not be the perfect fit for everybody. For this reason, I work integratively, drawing upon several different counselling models to help my clients and tailor my approach to best fit the individual’s needs.

ROSE
I am very passionate about supporting people struggling with mental health difficulties, I have experience personally and professionally in supporting and understanding child, adolescent and adult mental health difficulties, not only for people struggling with mental health but also the families supporting them.

JO
We can all experience challenges. There are times in our lives when we can feel stuck and would benefit from a safe and supportive space to talk things through, to feel heard and held whilst we face our difficulties and navigate through those challenges.
Using a warm, empathic person-centred approach I hope to support people through these times to be able to move forward positively with their lives.

NOVA
I offer a safe space where you can be yourself and explore without judgment. I will be there to listen and support you, and I will respect your pace and autonomy. I am a qualified BACP counsellor and experienced in working with both long term and short term counselling. Our sessions will be tailored to fit you by drawing from different counselling models. This way we can start to make sense of what is going on for you, and find the best way to achieve your goals.

ALANA
I provide a safe, warm, non-judgemental, understanding, and confidential environment to allow people to fully explore themselves and support them in actualising their full potential and create the change they desire.I know exactly how hard it is to sit opposite someone and explore the issues that are affecting their lives. I believe it is an honour and a privilege to cultivate a therapeutic relationship and walk alongside my clients through their journey.

SAMUEL
I believe that counselling shouldn't be a secretive practice, that uses complex jargon and where something magically happens to you. There are no quick fixes or silver bullets however much we wish there were, rather it should be a collaborative endeavour where we create a safe, non judgemental environment to explore, understand and find the tools best suited to you.

KAJAL
I am confident that creating a safe, non-judgmental, and open-minded space is essential to helping young people navigate the pressures and worries that are increasingly prevalent in today’s fast-changing and unstable environment. In a world where social media, school demands, and personal issues intersect, I am committed
to guiding young people through these complexities with compassion and understanding.
My focus is on empowering young people to express and manage their emotions, develop stronger communication skills, build greater self-acceptance and self-esteem, and cope with stress and anxiety.

TOM
I would hope to offer you an approach to counselling which fits your needs, as each person and their walk of life is different. The way I work with you would be to offer you the space to talk or interact with me in a way which suits you and your needs, in a safe and empathetic environment. I include humanistic and integrative approaches, meaning that I can pull from a pool of useful information that will hopefully help you navigate through difficulties at your own pace.

VANESSA
The pressures of everyday life and significant events can create feelings of distress and a sense of disconnection. I offer a safe space to talk about your personal and relational issues without judgement. I take a person-centred approach, which means I work at your pace led by the issues you want to talk about. I bring personal warmth, empathy and professional experience, the aim of our relationship will be to
support you towards creating positive change.

IULIAN
If we feel like we are in a difficult place, sometimes the first step is the hardest one to make, and that is
seeking a therapist. It can take a lot of courage to look ourselves in the mirror and tell ourselves that the
best way moving forward is to access mental health services. And if you are reading this right now, it
means that first step has already been taken. We would work together, with a genuine non-judgemental and empathic approach, towards what positive change that you see as desirable. I think working with the here and now can be beneficial, as well as looking at the past, as long as it is comfortable, and finding how past experiences have an impact in your life now.

LUCY
Counselling, to me, is all about embracing the messiness of life through genuine connections and real conversations. No judgement, just a confidential and autonomous space to explore what's going on for you in your here and now. My integrative approach blends a range of theories and techniques, and I'll strive to support you not only to make sense of your present, but to reflect on your past experiences and consider your future. No two of us are the same, and I'll respect that by working collaboratively with you at a pace that feels relevant and right for you.

RACHEL

I am studying an integrative counselling style andmy style leans toward the person-centred approach. My aim is to support you with the toughquestions or struggles you are facing on your life journey. I have been supported in those times myself with therapy and found this an invaluable tool away from your day-to-day life to truly explore and findyour desired self.
TOBY

TIFFANY
I believe counselling is two individuals sharing a human journey. By offering a warm, sincere and non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and experiences, I aim to work collaboratively with you to understand what has brought you here and to support you in where you want to go. Taking these first steps towards change is challenging but I believe counselling is an investment in yourself. Like polishing a mirror, when we truly know and accept ourselves we can live more authentically and freely

SARAH S
I believe that past experience plays a big part in guiding our reactions to new situations, by developing our awareness and understanding the power of unconscious thought, we may give ourselves a deeper understanding as to why we behave and feel as we do. I understand the stigma that may be attached to seeking support and the difficulties someone starting therapy may feel. Making those first steps may be challenging but I am here to offer you a supportive and non-judgmental space throughout every step of your journey.

KATIE
My journey to becoming a counsellor began with my own experiences of trauma and a difficult childhood. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming emotional pain can be, and how powerful it is to have someone truly listen and support you.
I work using a person-centred approach, meaning I see you as the expert. I’ll support you with warmth, empathy, and acceptance as you explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. I integrate psychodynamic thinking, which helps to understand how past experiences may be influencing the present.
Whatever has brought you here, I offer a non-judgemental, supportive space where we can work together towards greater understanding, healing, and self-acceptance.
